Oban 14 Year Old is a Western Highland single malt and part of Diageo's Classic Malt series. It is a full-bodied, fruity malt with a trace of heather and more than a hint of smoke, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is rich and sweet, with oranges, lemons and pears alongside sea salt and peaty smoke. On the palate come late autumn fruits, dried figs and honey-sweet spices, followed by a smoky, malty dryness. The finish is long and smooth-sweet, with oak, dryness and a grain of salt.
