Octomore 10 Years Old, 4th Edition, is a heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 54.3% ABV and measuring 208 ppm. The Octomore series was launched in 2008 with the aim of pushing the limits of peat.
The whisky spent ten years maturing in first-fill and second-fill bourbon casks, together with virgin American oak.
It is described as combining ashy smoke with vanilla, coconut, candied citrus, honey and soft spices.
