Octomore Edition 10.3 is a six-year-old Islay single malt from the Islay Barley series, Irene's Field. It matured for six and a half years in first-fill American oak casks and was bottled at a cask strength of 61.3%.
The barley was grown on the Octomore farm, and the spirit is heavily peated. The outturn is 24,000 bottles.
It is usually described as peat smoke with vanilla, cereal, citrus, malt, oak and a salty, coastal spice.
