Ohtani Capricorn Peated Zodiac Series (70cl, 50%)

Capricorn is a peated single malt from Niigata Kameda Distillery, part of the Ohtani Zodiac Sign Series, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from peated malt and matured mainly in first-fill bourbon barrels, with a touch of sherry casks. The series takes its inspiration from the star signs, and this edition reflects the steady, sincere and quietly strong character of Capricorn. It is described as having layers of smoke with nutty, gentle fruit aromas, and a balance of rich malt sweetness and peat. The finish is lingering and gently smoky.
