The nose combines soft spices, toasted peat and vanilla, with a gentle sweetness from the bourbon casks. The palate is well balanced, with heavy peat smoke, black pepper and hints of citrus. The finish is long and spicy, with smoke, tar, and a light sweetness of caramel and dried fruit.
