Old Ballantruan 15 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

Old Ballantruan 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Tomintoul distillery, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Old Ballantruan is the distillery's heavily peated brand, which is unusual for the region. The whisky spent its whole maturation in ex-bourbon casks of American oak. It is bottled unfiltered and without added colouring. It is described as a soft malt with warming spice, followed by a sweet, long-lasting finish.
