Old Ballantruan (70cl, 50%)

Old Ballantruan is a heavily peated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, a brand of the Tomintoul distillery. Peat of this strength is unusual for the region. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak, which bring the floral, fruity and creamy character associated with Speyside, joined by a campfire smoke. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and in its natural colour.
