A 9 year old single malt from Old Carron, finished in a Tawny Port cask and bottled by The Cask Wizard at 54.1% ABV.
It was distilled in March 2017 and bottled in October 2026, filling 115 bottles. The spirit is described as heavy and earthy, and the port finish adds fruit and sweetness without covering it.
The nose brings strawberries, cherry sweets and blossom honey, with vanilla and gentle wood spice. On the palate, sweet and spicy port notes sit with earthy, mineral and malty flavours reminiscent of dark farmhouse bread, then strawberry sauce, dried fruit and nut chocolate.
