Old Durbar Black Chimney Blended Whisky (75cl, 42.8%)

A blended whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 42.8% ABV. Old Durbar Black Chimney is made with Scottish malted barley dried over a peat fire, then double-distilled and aged for 8 to 12 years in ex-bourbon casks. It is finished in Oloroso sherry casks and has a deep gold colour. It won a Double Gold medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The nose is sweet caramel and spice, balanced by peaty smoke. The palate is smooth and nutty, with creamy vanilla and peat smoke, and the mellow finish carries layers of sherry and peat.
