The name refers to its two casks. The whisky first matured for eight years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then spent one year in Oloroso sherry casks.
The bourbon casks are said to bring vanilla and caramel, and the sherry casks dried fruits and spices. It is described as smooth and full-bodied.
