Old Forester 150th Anniversary Batch Proof 01/03 is a Kentucky straight bourbon at 62.8% ABV (125.6 proof), in a 750ml bottle. It is the first of three batches released in 2020 for Old Forester's 150th anniversary, each drawn from a different selection of barrels at its own proof. This first batch is bottled unfiltered. The nose is bold with caramel, vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and complex, with caramel, vanilla and dark spice, and a few drops of water open the nose. The finish is long and warming.
