Old Forester Signature 100 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (75cl, 50%)

Old Forester Signature 100 Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 50% (100 proof). Old Forester was introduced in 1870 by George Garvin Brown and was the first bourbon sold only in sealed glass bottles. The Signature name honours Brown, whose signature appears on every bottle. It is made from a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, and matured in new charred American oak. The nose offers sweet coffee, dark chocolate, butterscotch, cherry, red licorice and baking spices. The palate is creamy and rich, with caramel, brown sugar, maple syrup, cherry and vanilla over rye spice, and the finish is warm and sweet.
