Old Kempton Classic Pinot is a Tasmanian single malt from the Classic Range, in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is aged in Pinot Noir casks, and the cask character runs through the whole dram.
The nose is delicately floral, lifted by a sweet cherry note. The palate opens clean and sweet, then settles into warm stone fruit and floral flavours. The finish is long and clean, with chocolate and toffee sweetness sitting beneath crisp oak tannins from the Pinot cask.
