Old Potrero – 6 Year Old Straight Rye

Old Potrero 6 Year Old is a straight rye whisky from a brand that began as a micro distillery opened out of the Anchor brewery in 1993. It is described as rich, spicy and fruity on the nose, with a dry spiciness in the mouth. The sweet dried fruit is reminiscent of brandy, alongside caramel, oak, maple syrup and fennel. Intense sweet spices ride on waves of oak towards the finish, and the whisky is said to gain richness in the glass.
