Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Pulteney Distillery in Wick, the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. The distillery was established in 1826 in Pulteneytown, a town created to house fishermen during the herring boom.
The wash still has no swan neck, and the bottle has a bulbous neck to echo the shape of the stills.
The whisky is described as having a big sherry presence alongside sweet citrus fruit and a faint whiff of brine.
