This is a 12-year-old single malt from Old Pulteney, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands in a residential part of Wick, the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland, at a crossroads in the area once called Pulteneytown.
The nose is fresh, dry and salty. The palate is spicy, soft and malty, and the finish is warm, long and salty.
