A considered cask selection and a coastal influence give a whisky built around spice and intensity.
The nose is rich and warming, with spicy fruit softened by honeyed vanilla and a faint floral note, and some chocolate underneath. On the palate there are juicy spices and the richness of Christmas cake, with fresh green apple and sweet toffee. The finish is long.
