Old Pulteney Flotilla Vintage 2012 is a ten-year-old Highland single malt distilled in 2012, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is the 2012 vintage in the annual Flotilla series and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour.
The whisky matured in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. Light fruit, sweet oak and spice sit alongside the coastal character of the Wick distillery.
Sea spray and green apple on the nose meet caramel, chocolate and cinnamon. The palate shows vanilla, red chilli, chocolate biscuit, orchard fruit and malt, with a light oak note. The finish carries coconut and apple, salty minerality, malty sweetness and dry oak.
