Old Virginia 6 Year Old is an American whisky from Old Virginia Distillery, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is amber.
The nose brings herbal notes of garden prunings, raisins, charcoal, vanilla and rubber. The palate is powerful, with soft acidic notes and balsamic caramel towards the end, returning to the herbal notes and adding black pepper. The aftertaste is oaky, with cherry stones and rubber, and the short finish carries vanilla, charcoal and dried fruit.
