Paso de las Piedras – Single Grain Bottled in Bond (75cl, 50%)

This is a single grain Bottled in Bond whiskey from the Paso de las Piedras distillery in Argentina, made in the style of a straight bourbon. It is bottled at 50% in a 75cl bottle, straight from the cask, with natural colour and no chill-filtering. The grain comes from a single local harvest, grown agroecologically, and the spirit was matured in heavily toasted American oak. The nose shows vanilla, caramel, oak and spice, with ripe fruit and grain. The palate has sweet corn, chocolate, coffee, leather and wood.
