Patrón XO Cafe is a dry coffee liqueur made with Patrón Silver Tequila, which is 100% Blue Weber agave, and natural Arabica coffee essence from Veracruz, Mexico. It is made by hand at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco and bottled at 35% ABV.
The coffee is meant to taste of freshly roasted beans, alongside cooked agave and tequila, and it is dry rather than sweet. It can be sipped neat, poured over ice or used as the base of an espresso martini.
On the nose there is dark roasted coffee with chocolate, vanilla and cooked agave. The palate has Arabica intensity with light agave, chocolate and a smooth tequila backbone. The finish is smooth and lingering, with coffee, agave and a subtle vanilla sweetness.
