This is the 2024 Christmas Edition from Paul John, the seventh in the annual series of Indian single malts made in Goa. It is an unpeated whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The malt is a marriage of whisky matured in fresh American oak casks and whisky finished in Caribbean rum casks.
Tropical fruit and spice lead the character, alongside candied orange, sandalwood and toasted oak.
