Edited is the semi-peated expression from Paul John, the Indian distillery. Its fruity unpeated single malt is combined with about 15% of peated spirit, at roughly 20 to 25ppm, and the peat is the one ingredient brought in from Scotland. The whisky is fully matured in bourbon casks and bottled in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration or added colour. The nose combines honey, cocoa, a hint of smoke and espresso. The palate begins with grassy barley, then gentle peat, mint and mocha. The finish is long, with spice, chocolate mint and soft peat.
