A special edition Indian single malt from Paul John, made on the coast of Goa and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is dark mahogany. Sherry influence shows in the aroma, and the Oloroso casks lend the long finish its spice.
The nose brings peach and apricot with light notes of molasses and blood orange. The palate is soft and sweet, with nutty chocolate and Melton Hunt cake. The finish is long, intense and sweet, with heavy spice, a dash of coffee mocha and dark chocolate.
