Paul John Pedro Ximénez Select Cask is a single malt from the Paul John distillery in Goa, India, bottled at 48% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It is one of two Select Cask malts finished in different sherry casks, and this edition spent a period in Pedro Ximénez casks.
The nose brings dried fruits and cakey notes. The palate is bittersweet, with dried peel, raisins, dark chocolate, fruit mince pie and gingerbread, and the finish is laced with cocoa.
