Penelope Riviera is an American whiskey bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It joins an eight-year-old American light whiskey with straight bourbon, then takes a finish in rosé wine casks.
It is part of the Cooper Series, in which Penelope pairs American whiskey with selected cask types from different regions.
The nose opens with candied fruit and floral, herbal notes. On the palate come sweet vanilla, light sponge cake and strawberry. The finish brings firm leather, ripe berries and a light spice.
