Phenorax Peatside is an 11 year old blended malt from Scotland, bottled for the Scotch Universe series at 58.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in March 2015 and matured in a first fill ruby port hogshead before being bottled in June 2026. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines smoky peat with dark ripe fruit, notably blackberries and dark grapes. On the palate the peat is ashy and turns slightly phenolic, with oats and dark fruit following. The finish is very long and peaty, with the fruit returning at the end.
