Pig's Nose is a blended Scotch whisky that combines Scottish malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It first appeared in 1977 in Oldbury-on-Severn in England as a companion to the Sheep Dip brand, and it now belongs to Ian Macleod Distillers. The components mostly matured in ex-bourbon casks, with a significant share in first-fill casks. The name comes from the long-used comparison that the whisky is as soft as a pig's nose. The nose offers creamy malt, orange peel and toffee, with citrus and black pepper behind. The palate is soft, creamy and sweet, with a slightly salty, coastal hint. The finish is lasting, with salted butter, caramel and a trace of smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
