Pinot Nero IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti Konrad Oberhofer

A Pinot Nero from Konrad Oberhofer, produced in the IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti area from grapes grown at considerable altitude among the Dolomites. The mild microclimate and large temperature swings favour optimal ripening and lively acidity. Ageing takes place in selected wood barrels, giving a soft but structured wine with delicate red fruit, sweet spice and floral notes that open slowly in the glass. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with velvety tannins and a delicately persistent finish. It pairs with white meats, mushrooms and medium-aged cheeses, expressing the mountain territory from which it comes.
