A 2015 Pitilie, nine years old, bottled by Dràm Mòr as part of its Spring Release 2024. It matured in a single bourbon cask and was then finished in a first fill Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel. The outturn was 240 bottles.
The nose opens with chewy caramel and vanilla, moving towards peach skin and Dolly Mixtures, the British sugar-coated jelly sweets. On the palate the caramel turns sweeter and creamier, with butterscotch and syrup sponge under a velvety vanilla custard. The finish is gently lingering and fine.
