Planeta Sicilia Bianco DOC La Segreta

A Sicilian white wine blended mainly from Grecanico with touches of Chardonnay, Viognier and Fiano. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel at controlled temperature, followed by brief ageing on fine lees. It is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose shows white flowers, tropical fruit such as pineapple, citrus, especially grapefruit, aromatic herbs and a mineral note. On the palate it is lively and well balanced, with refreshing acidity and a long finish of fresh fruit and light minerality. It works as an aperitif or with light starters, fish and seafood.
