A single cask aged rum from Barbados, released as a Mackmyra edition. It is made from molasses and matured for fourteen years in bourbon casks in a tropical climate, four years in Ferrand casks and one year in a Mackmyra Rök cask. The rum has an amber colour. The nose brings malted barley, peat, white pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, juniper wood, cloves, coffee and fruit. The palate is smoky and full-bodied, with hazelnut, marmalade and coconut milk. The finish is pronounced and long, with salty notes, milk chocolate, green anise and cooked banana.
