A single cask rum distilled in 2018 by Destiladora de Alcoholes y Rones in Guatemala from molasses, with fermentation of 2 to 3 days and multi-column distillation. It aged for 2 years in Bourbon casks, 1 year in Ferrand casks and was finished for 4 months in red Pineau des Charentes wine casks. It is bottled at 43% vol with a dosage of 15 g/l.
Tasting Notes
Elegant and balanced profile of wood, allspice and fruits, with honey, orange blossom, black currant, coconut and vanilla, then banana, apricot, nuts and floral notes.
Rich, with varnish, pineapple and plum cake, then fruitier notes of sour cherry, gooseberry and delicate rose petals balanced by peppery notes.
Long and fruity, with vanilla.
