A single cask rum from Guatemala, distilled in column stills at the Distillery of Alcohols and Rums. It first matured for several years in ex-Bourbon casks in tropical climate, then received a finish of one year each in ex-Ferrand and ex-Pineau des Charentes casks in France, and was bottled in 2018. The rum smells of wood, spices, fruit, especially apricot, and light floral notes. On the palate it shows pineapple, plum, sour cherry and cooked apple with a hint of hyacinth, and the finish is long, spicy and fruity.
