A single cask rum from Guatemala, distilled from molasses on a column still. It was aged for three years in American bourbon casks in its country of origin, then finished at Maison Ferrand for four years in Ferrand casks and eight months in red Madeira casks. The nose opens spicy, then moves to ripe apricots, apricot brandy and surprising salt notes. The palate is balanced with fruit sweetness, ripe apricots, roasted almonds and anise.
