A single cask rum from Haiti, distilled at Distillerie de Jeanty from sugar cane juice after a five-day fermentation in a four-column still. It aged five years in 200-litre bourbon casks in Haiti, then two years in 350-litre Cognac Ferrand casks and one further year in Ferrand 10 Générations casks. It was bottled with a dosage of 12 g/l sugar. The rum is limited and comes without a gift box.
On the nose it is complex and herbal, slightly floral, with notes of fermented sugar cane juice and lime zest. The palate is generous and woody, with green pepper, coconut and ginger, becoming fruitier with banana and apricot. The finish is long, with almond, raisin and greengage plum. It recalls a classic Ti' Punch with a touch of rose petals.
