Plantation one-time Guyana 2007 is a 15-year-old aged rum from Demerara Distillers Limited, bottled at 51% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. It is distilled from molasses using a blend of Port Mourant pot still, Savalle column still and Enmore Coffey column still, with 13 years in American bourbon casks in the country of origin and two years in Ferrand casks at Maison Ferrand. Dosage is 0 g/l. The nose is intense and rich, with pastry, cocoa, almond, vanilla and lime zest. The palate is rich and oily, with flowers, orange, tobacco, raisin, berry, almond, hazelnut, balsamic and molasses notes, plus light smoke, leather and ginseng. The finish is very long, spicy and fresh, with pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice and chocolate.
