A single cask rum from Alcoholes del Istmo, made from molasses on a column still. It spent twelve years in American bourbon casks, then one year in Ferrand casks and seven months in white Pineau des Charentes casks. Dosage is 5 g/l. Esters are 85 and VC 200. The nose is intensely floral and fruity, with lilac, linden, vine flowers, apricots, peaches, plums, honey, almonds and vanilla. The palate is fresh and sweet, with oranges, figs, quinces, hazelnuts, cinnamon and pepper.
