Plantation Trinidad 2011 2022 Sauternes Cask XO is a single cask aged rum from Trinidad Distillers Limited, distilled from molasses and bottled at 42.9% vol in a 700 ml bottle. It was aged for nine years in American bourbon casks, one year in Ferrand casks and three months in Sauternes wine casks. The rum has ester 138, VC 552 and dosage 5 g/l.
The nose brings mango, citrus, quince, acacia honey and vanilla. The palate follows with pineapple, peach, beeswax, roasted almonds, butter, ginger and clove.
