A single cask rum from Barbados, distilled at Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery from molasses and bottled at 59% vol in a 700 ml bottle. Fermentation lasted from two days to two weeks, with pot and column still distillation. It spent two years tropically ageing in Bourbon casks and one year continentally in Ferrand casks. Esters are 233 g/hL AA, volatile compounds 579 g/hL AA and dosage is 0 g/L. The colour is light gold.
Tasting Notes
Elegant and fruity, with ripe apricot, juicy orange, dried fig, mango, a floral note, vanilla and gentle oak.
Silky and creamy, with coconut, melting chocolate, warm vanilla, juicy peach, fine spices and roasted almonds.
Long and refined, with ripe banana and cocoa, plus a subtle woody note.
