Planteray Fiji 2004 Umeshu Cask Finish XO is a single cask rum from Fiji, distilled from molasses by Dest.Rum Co. of Fiji. It was aged for seventeen years in bourbon barrels, then finished for two years in Ferrand casks and one year in Umeshu casks. The rum is bottled at 48.4% vol in a 700 ml bottle.
The nose shows apricot notes, aged apricot brandy, wood and fine spice. The palate has pronounced fruit sweetness with date.
