Pokeno Alchemy New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Alchemy is a new core range single malt from Pōkeno Distillery in New Zealand, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It brings together some of the distillery's oldest whiskies, matured across six cask types: Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and hogsheads, lightly and medium toasted virgin American oak barrels, and ruby and tawny port barriques. It is described as the distillery's boldest and richest release to date. Expect ripe red fruits, dark chocolate and Black Forest gâteau, followed by rich honey, caramel and vanilla beans, and a long, fruit-driven finish.
