Pōkeno – Discovery Single Malt Whisky

Pōkeno Discovery is a single malt whisky from New Zealand, made at a distillery in the village of Pōkeno, just south of Auckland on the North Island. The distillery was founded by whisky industry veteran Matt Johns around 2017 and is now the largest whisky distillery in the country. It works with New Zealand grown barley and spring water drawn from the surrounding volcanic hills. The subtropical climate of the area speeds up maturation and flavour development in the barrel.
