Pōkeno – Origin New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Origin is a New Zealand single malt from the Pōkeno distillery, matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery lies in a warm, misty valley sheltered by volcanic hills, which is where its spring water comes from. The barley is grown on three family-owned farms on New Zealand's South Island. The distillery describes toasted vanilla bean and sweet butterscotch, giving way to citrus, creamy toffee and hints of caramelised banana, with a sweet, lingering finish.
