Pōkeno Origin is the core single malt from Pōkeno Whisky Company in the Waikato, New Zealand. It is made from barley sourced in New Zealand and matured only in first-fill bourbon casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
Bright citrus and grapefruit sit alongside honey, vanilla and creamy toffee. The nose adds gentle toasted oak, and the palate is smooth and creamy with sweet malt. The finish is long and rounded, with citrus, toffee, honey and a little oak.
