Pōkeno – "Prohibition Porter" First Fill Bourbon New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Pōkeno Prohibition Porter is a New Zealand single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a collaboration with Liberty Brewing, limited to 365 bottles. The whisky was first matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for nine months in porter beer barrels. Those barrels had first held Pōkeno whisky, then gone to Liberty for beer, and returned to the distillery for the finishing. It is described as smooth and rich, with cocoa and chocolate alongside citrus and vanilla.
