Port Askaig 100 Proof (70cl, 57.1%)

Port Askaig 100 Proof is a peated Islay single malt bottled at 57.1%, the traditional British 100 degree proof strength. It belongs to the Port Askaig range, selected by Elixir Distillers from undisclosed Islay distilleries and bottled without chill filtration or added colour. This expression matured in first-fill American oak casks. The nose has bonfire smoke, lemon zest and green apple, with sea spray, pine needles and malt. The palate is full-bodied, with peat ash, charred citrus, vanilla cream, ginger and sea salt. The finish is long and clean, with peat smoke, grapefruit and toasted oak spice.
