Power's – 12 Year Old Special Reserve

Power's 12 Year Old Special Reserve is an Irish blend with a high pot still content, at around 80%. Most of the ageing took place in ex-bourbon casks, with a small amount in sherry wood. Although the label says 12 years, the blend includes older whiskeys, with ages ranging from 12 to 21 years. The extra time in cask adds body and flavour, and the wood has softened some of the harder edges of the standard Gold Label.
