This is an 8 year old Jura bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Premier Barrel selection, at 46% ABV in a 70cl ceramic bottle. The edition is 295 bottles worldwide.
The whisky was distilled on Jura, an island off the west coast of Scotland. The ceramic bottle comes in an open paper box.
On the nose there is lemon biscuit, freshly cut grass and stripped oak with a waxy peel. The palate brings salted caramel, plenty of grist and oily malt with fresh cut herbs, and the finish is buttery lemon cake with a touch of honey.
