This Mortlach 8 Year Old comes from the Premier Barrel range from Douglas Laing. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl ceramic bottle, and only 412 bottles were filled worldwide.
On the nose there is caramelised nut, baklava and spiced chocolate. The palate recalls a buttery croissant dusted with icing sugar and drizzled with honey. The finish brings citrus peel and a hint of honey.
